The specific reason for this short bio is to introduce ourselves. We want you to get to know us and we want to get to know you. We don’t want to be known as just another name and face on the internet, we want to be people that you know, love, and trust. Feel free to send us an email at [email protected] or [email protected] to ask us a question or just to say, “Hi!”
Ordinary Believer is our ministry. We are believers definitely and ordinary particularly. Neither of us has post-graduate theological degrees, but we are intent on sharing what we know about God and the revelation he has given us in the Bible. In addition to our blog, we are authors and you can learn more about our books at ordinarybeliever/books.
We have been married for 34 years. We met while ministering in El Paso and have been lay ministers ever since. Chuck retired from the US Army in 1998, which allowed him to spend more time serving God as he has led us. Our family has lived for short periods in India where we were cultural researchers and we have served on the boards and staff of various churches and nonprofits.
For the past several years, we have lived in Colorado and have worked as authors. We are currently working part-time on the staff of Littleton Christian Church as the coordinators for the Alongside Team (benevolence ministry) and Ministry Partners.
